We provide staffing services and workforce recruitment services. In our daily business, we abide by and apply the central collective agreements on terms of employment, the principles of activity of the Private Employment Agencies Association, the principles of hiring foreign workforce and the principles on handling personal information.
Staffing services is a process where a Valpas employee is hired out to the customer company for a period of time that is required. Engaging the staffing service is free. Compensation is paid at a predefined rate only for the hours worked by the employee.
The service includes supervision of actual working hours, assistance in supervision of work, occupational healthcare, mandatory insurances and payroll computation. An employee that has been hired out can be recruited to work directly for the customer company.
Recruitment of employees is crucial a process, and sometimes misinterpreted as not belonging in the core functions of a company, even in branches that require a great amount of workforce. Our consultants have professional expertise in all phases of the recruitment process and extensive knowledge in their respective fields.
The service provided includes job advertisement, a pre-defined number of interviews, assessments of personality, background checks and introduction of applicants to the customer company. When a suitable applicant is found, the customer makes the final decision.

Elinkeinoelämän keskusliiton EK:n heinäkuussa tekemän Suhdannebarometrin mukaan Suomen elinkeinoelämän suhdannekuva alkoi keväällä kirkastua aiempaa joutuisammin. Suhdannetilanne on parantunut erittäin heikolta lähtötasolta jo melko lähelle keskimääräistä. Vuodenvaihteessa alkanut tuotannon kasvu on jatkunut, uusia tilauksia on saatu aiempaa runsaammin ja henkilöstö on vähentynyt enää aavistuksen.
Suhdannenäkymät lähikuukausille ovat melko myönteiset kaikilla päätoimialoilla. Asteittaisen elpymisen ennustetaan jatkuvan loppuvuonna ja vuodenvaihteessa. Maltillisen kasvun ennustetaan jatkuvan, ja nyt myös kannattavuudessa on tapahtunut käänne parempaan. Henkilöstömäärän odotetaan pysyvän lähellä nykytasoa.
Rakentamisessa parantunut suhdannekuva näkyy työvoimapulana. Jo tässä vaiheessa 30% yrityksistä ilmoittaa työvoimapulan haittaavan toimintaansa. Teollisuuden puolella työvoiman puute on yleistynyt hieman, mutta se ei kuitenkaan ole saavuttanut vielä ongelmallista tasoa.
